13/365 Point/Object Placement #4

Today was difficult for me to get anything finished.  I have a couple of projects almost done, but I haven't gotten them to the place where I'm satisfied posting them online.  I explored Point/Object Placement a little more today, although it might be difficult to tell in the finished product.

I based the first one on a tutorial I found online that had a really nice looking brown and gold color scheme.  Instead of following the tutorial exactly (I always try to put my own spin them), I used the background shapes as my objects in the exercise.

The next one wasn't connected with this week's exercise. I just had an idea I wanted to try and managed to get it wrapped up today.  Tomorrow, I'll post examples of this week's design principle that I found across the web.  I managed to locate some really nice retro album covers among other pieces.
