4/365 Time Is Money

Today's design is what I managed to recover from the scrap heap of yesterday's attempt--about half of what I had created, so I went from there. The gist of this was pretty much me trying to get more familiar with Illustrator. I did manage to try a few techniques with this design that I had not done previously, so it was a good learning experience. In the process, I created some vector currency that I'm giving away for free. Right-click on the folder icon below and choose Click to go to my storage folder, then right-click and "Save As", Remember, it's "not legal tender."

Design 365 is aimed at embracing the mantra "practice makes perfect" and push the limits of my creativity by stepping out of my comfort zone by creating one new design at regular intervals over a set period of time.

Initially I aimed for a new finished design every day, but I found that goal was reaching a little high. I realized that having the accountability of the blog was a good thing, and has really helped me to keep personal projects on the burner and posted semi-regularly. I may go a week or two between posting at times, but I'm doing much better at keeping the creative juices flowing and planning my next project.
